Lost and Found

The Lost and Found Office is located in the Salt Lake City Airport Operations Division on the mezzanine level of Terminal One. Travelers and others may inquire about lost or misplaced articles in person between the hours of 8:00 AM to 4:45 PM Monday thru Friday. You may inquire by phone 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM seven days a week at (801) 575-2427. Correspondence can be sent to airport.lostfound@slcgov.com or Lost and Found, P.O. Box 145550, Salt Lake City, UT 841114-5550.

Lost and found items are accumulated in each terminal building on a daily basis and transported to the Airport Operations office in Terminal #1 where they are catalogued and stored.

Please check with your airline's baggage claim/lost and found offices for  items left on an airplane.

Found items are held for 90 days, at which time items considered sellable are sent to city auction.  Other items such as blankets, pillows, toys, etc are donated to non-profit charities designated by the City.   Anyone claiming property at the lost and found area must show proper identification, such as a driver's license, and sign for the item.

Individuals may click here to report a lost item or use the buttons below to see a list of found items.
